The Desert of the Real...

Little Lake

Fossil Falls

A review of of the geology and archaeology of the area around Little Lake and Fossil Falls, in California's Mojave Desert. The area was shaped by volcanic activity from 400,000 years to approximately 10,000 years. And for 20,000 years, people have came and went, populating the area from when it was a lush, green environment into recent history, when it is a harsh, arid desert.

The Desert Dogs find petroglyphs and numerous chippings, and even visit one of the oldest archaeological sites in the United States; the Stall Site.
