Looking for writers, bloggers for desert-related content

REAL Desert News is looking for a few good writers.  The workload is easy – at least one article a week.  The ideal candidate is a desertphile (to borrow a term from an esteemed Youtuber) – a ‘lover of the desert’, and a passionate writer.

We are looking to cover the four main deserts of the United States (Chihuahuan, Sonoran, Great Basin, and Mojave), so if you live in these regions, that’s a plus!  As long as the subjects are desert-related, we’re interested in it.

Compensation is Google Adsense – if you’re not familiar with Google’s Adsense, click here.  Right now the pickings are slim as we try to carve our path through the maelstrom of internet junk that one might find on their average Google search.    There’s some competition out there, but it’s nothing that a motivated team can not overcome.

Eventually, we’d like to add more benefits to our writers.  With your help, we can make this site the best desert news and feature blog around.

If interested, please provide your contact information, a writing sample, and a very brief explanation on why you want to be a part of our team to andy@therealdesertdogs.com.
